Dr. John R. Edwards joined the Utah Neurological Clinic Staff in 2015. He has experience in all aspects of general neurosurgery, including brain tumors, head trauma, and surgical spine treatment; and specializes in scoliosis and spinal deformity, minimally invasive spine procedures, cervical disc replacement, and sacroiliac joint fusion.

Dr. Edwards was born and raised in Utah Valley. He graduated from Provo High School and Brigham Young University, where he majored in microbiology. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa. Dr. Edwards is committed to providing every patient with the safest and most effective medical care available, treating them with respect and compassion, and making himself available for their follow-up needs. He lives in Provo with his wife, Marie, and three sons. They enjoy hiking, skiing and golfing together, and are thrilled to be back in Utah Valley.
